DRESS MAKING - MAKING YOUR GARMENT

 

BASIC LEVEL OF SEWING REQUIRED.

This dress making course over 6 weeks will allow you to make 1 or 2 garments. As part of the course we are excited to work with 'Tilly and The Buttons' providing a selection of patterns for you to choose from. Her patterns are easy to follow and with our support you will create your chosen garment. (Alternatively you can bring your own but it will however need to be to a specific requirements to ensure your all working at the same pace)  

 

We will cover -

• Learn more about the equipment and how to use it effectively.

• How to measure the figure and choose the right pattern size.

• Learn about pattern markings and how to transfer a patterns.

• Facings and sleeves.

• Finishings.
