This introduction to sewing is perfect for anyone that wants to learn to sew. You require no previous knowledge (but a sewing machine would be handy but not essential). 

 

We will cover -

• Learn more about the equipment and how to use it effectively. 

• Sew simple seams.

• Find out about simple seam finishes.

• Begin to use a sewing machine: wind on a bobbin; thread the machine; learn to sew forward in straight lines and turn corners.

• Mark up your choice of fabric and cut it out using a simple pattern. 

• Put together a simple envelope cushion cover.
